The UCLA TMS Intensive Training Course offers comprehensive training in the fundamental concepts, basic neuroscience, and myriad clinical applications of Repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (rTMS). This hybrid course, taught by expert UCLA faculty, combines over a dozen lectures on the theory and practice of rTMS with hands-on clinical training. Participants will gain practical experience with everything from the determination of motor thresholds, use of multiple types of coils, and techniques of coil placement to neuronavigation and the use of deep TMS. The aim of this course is to provide participants with the knowledge and skills to prescribe and deliver rTMS treatment. This course is ideal for psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, and other health professionals. If you are interested in attending, please complete the form below. For those interested in viewing the lectures alone, remote-only participation options are available for your convenience.
*If you would like to attend our intensive training course as a larger group, please contact us for more information. While certificates of completion are provided, privileges to deliver rTMS treatment are regulated by licensure and institutional requirements.
